As the saying goes, one should have breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. It is also necessary to know when you should have your meals. Breakfast should ideally be taken before 9 am, lunch should be taken within 1 pm, and dinner within maximum 8.30 pm. There should be in-between meals which will help in proper bodily functions.

It almost sounds silly to ask someone to make their bed after they get up. Making your own bed will allow you to start off your day on a positive and organised note. There is a sense of satisfaction in seeing a properly tucked-in bed-sheet and arranged pillows. This is an extremely minor change you can make which will enable you to go forward towards a very healthy lifestyle with a clear, focused and systematic mindset. Furthermore, at the end of a long, hard day, it’s always infinitely more desirable to come home to a properly made bed than a messy one. It makes you feel more entitled to a good night’s sleep after your day’s toil.

As a result, you will have done something in your present for which the future-you will thankful. It is natural to have some people around who might question or mock your way of living, but as the saying goes, first they ask you ‘why you did it?’ and later they ask you ‘how you did it?’. At the end, it all comes down to how much you prioritize yourself; love yourself enough to live a healthy lifestyle!
